1.BACKGROUND
iCheck?-Afla Total strip is lateral flow immunochromatographic assay based on a competitive immunoassay format. With iCheck? strip reader, it measures 2.5 ppb-25ppb of total aflatoxin B1, B2, G1 and G2 in corn or rice.

Materials required but not provided:
1) 200 and 1000¦Ìl precision micropipette
2) iCheck? Strip reader (with ZERO card)
3) Multi-purpose rotary mixer

6) Distilled water ot pure water
7) Extraction solution: Methanol+Water(70+30)
8) Funnel
9) Filter paper
10) 50mL Extraction tube
3.PRECAUTIONS
1) Store test kits at 2~8℃(35.6~46.4¨H) when not in use, and do not use beyond the expiration date.
2) Keep from moisture, and do not use the damaged and damp kits.
3) All reagents must be at room temperature before assay is running.
4) Do not re-use test strips.
5) Avoid swallowing the desiccant.
4.INTERPRETATION OF THE RESULTS
1) Test range: 2.5ppb-25ppb.
2) If there is no line in control zone, the test is invalid and the sample should be re-tested by using a valid test strip.
3) If reading is 25 ppb, the filtered extract should be further diluted in 70% methanol such that the diluted sample reading results are in a range of 2.5-25ppb and reanalyzed to obtain accurate results. The dilution factor must be included when the final result is calculated.
